Saturday Puppet Show Information

Show times: 10 AM & Noon
$1 suggested donation for youth who live or go to school in the Central, Phillips, Powderhorn or Corcoran neighborhoods, and their families. If you live elsewhere, a $3 donation is requested.
No reservations necessary, but seating is limited.
This program is sponsored by Target with support from the Target Foundation.
Please note: shows are in English unless specified otherwise, but you’ll find children love puppets regardless of language.

New for Kids!
Saturday Puppet-Making Workshops

Introducing a new series of “make and take” puppet and craft workshops to complement our very popular Saturday Matinee Puppet Shows for Kids.
Nearly every Saturday from October to March, we present a different puppet show by talented local puppeteers. And, starting this fall, parents and kids can also join a fun hands-on workshop inspired by that Saturday’s performance!
Workshops are one hour long, with age-appropriate activities.
For kids ages 3 to 12 and adult companions (please no unaccompanied children)

Every Saturday
10:50 am - 12 pm & 
12:50 pm 2 pm (following shows at 10 am and noon

Location

HOBT Studio on Third Floor of Plaza Verde 1516 East Lake Street, Minneapolis. (Puppet shows are next door at HOBT’s Avalon Theatre.)

Cost

$8 per adult and child pair 
$4 for each additional person

Free Friday Morning Puppet Shows!

Free Monthly Show for Pre-School - 3rd Grade Groups

Once a month, we offer free puppet shows to day-care groups and classes! These 30-45 minute puppet shows are presented in the casual setting of our lobby. Lots of interaction and an opportunity to speak with the puppeteers after the show make this a great field trip for your class or day care group.

All shows are at 10:30 AM. SEATING IS LIMITED -- RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED.
